Faculty Information

Faculty Information

The Airds High School Technology and Applied Studies (TAS) Faculty consists of highly skilled professionals with a diverse range of expertise. In TAS we aim to deliver engaging programs that promote real world practical experiences, project-based learning and problem-based learning.

There is a strong VET focus in TAS in Stage 6 with our well resourced facility in our Commercial Kitchen, Metals and Engineering Workshop and Construction Trade Training Centre. This has allowed our students to effectively access equipment on site.

Many of our subjects have led students to many professions and trades along with gaining part time or full time employment through obtaining apprenticeships or traineeships. Students are encouraged to enquire and pursue further information about career paths.
