This is the local library for Airds High School. By becoming a member, students have access to a range of physical and online resources.

This is an excellent resource for research on Historical, Legal and social issues.
You can join the State Library online for free. This will give you access to numerous Online resources.

A great resource for a variety of subjects. There is information on Australia's population statistics e.g. births, deaths and marriages, and census data.
· Australian War Memorial
The Australian War Memorial commemorates the sacrifice of Australians who have died in war and those who have served the nation in times of conflict. It has an extensive collection that can be accessed by exploring interactive digital experiences, listening to podcasts, and watching videos.
· CSIRO
This website contains information about climate change, solar power and indigenous knowledge and science.
· ABC
The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) site is a multi-platform media operation and a public broadcaster that delivers Australian stories and conversations across the nation.
This sub-site of the ABC showcases the achievements of Aborigines and Torres Strait Islanders.

The National Museum of Australia brings tells Australian stories through objects, ideas and events. They focus on Indigenous histories and cultures, European settlement and our interaction with the environment.

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) site provides information on World Heritage Sites and promotes cultural heritage.
