MACQLIT
Macqlit is an explicit and systematic intervention program for small groups of older low-progress readers. It provides teachers with a comprehensive sequence of lessons that includes all the key components necessary for effective reading instructions: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary building and comprehension.
Macqlit entry is offered twice a year at Airds High School and runs daily during the school day.
QUICKSMART
Quicksmart is an intervention program designed for students who experience persistent difficulties in numeracy. The program provides a framework with short and targeted lesson components for educators to work through with their students.

Tutoring Support
Tutor groups provide extra support to students most in need using literacy and numeracy data to inform practice.
SLSO Support
Experienced School Learning and Support Officers support students in various KLAs.
